With the emergence of international finance activity in West Beijing, the Beijing Finance Street District is well-positioned to become the region’s center of life. The Masterplan is anchored by a landmark public park, which sets the theme for the Central Area. A ring of residential, dining, retail, and public activity brings vibrant day and night life. Landmark office towers and a conference center create a district image and identity on the Second Ring Road. Together with a major retail center facing the central park, this will enhance real estate value for the project’s prime office addresses. This mix of urban uses around a focal open space creates a synergy that strengthens the entire region. The Masterplan avoids typical Beijing super-block patterns, pulling a landmark open space through the whole project area and lining streets with enclosure and activity. With 18 building and over 10,000 space for underground carpark later, it is an anchor for West Beijing.
