Hong Kong Central Waterfront

The project proposes a visionary redevelopment of the Central Waterfront in Hong Kong, covering approximately 40 hectares of reclaimed land. Managed by Swire Properties, the plan aims to transform a one-kilometer stretch of the water’s edge into a world-class civic heart for the city. The core vision is to create Hong Kong’s premiere civic open space that celebrates the city’s unique natural setting between the mountains and the sea. Rather than simply extending the existing dense urban fabric, the plan focuses on environmental quality and public life as the primary drivers for future economic growth.
