The project site is located in a flood-sensitive area and is integral to a critical regional ecological solution. The development addresses these key values: - Preserve and enhance the natural drainage system to ensure effective stormwater management. - Increase land surface area to accommodate seasonal flood conditions. - Maximize accessibility to parklands and the waterway system to encourage public engagement with the regional ecology. - Establish a broad range of “green land uses” within the parkland network that are compatible with and will strengthen the native ecological framework for the development and the district.
