The Dalat Cultural Park Masterplan is a visionary urban regeneration project designed to transform a strategic lakeside site into a premier landmark destination for Vietnam’s iconic “Hillside Tourist Town.” Developed by HOK for BIDV-Dalat Land, the project aims to leverage Dalat’s unique hilly topography, cool climate, and colonial villa heritage to create a vibrant district that serves both domestic and international tourists. The Masterplan explores multiple design scenarios—such as the “Promenade,” “Village Center,” and “West Lake” schemes—each balancing high-end residential apartments and luxury villas with commercial hubs, boutique hotels, and cultural entertainment venues. By enhancing the public realm and creating seamless connectivity to the Xuan Huong lakefront, the development seeks to spur economic growth in the surrounding areas while preserving the relaxed, natural atmosphere that defines Dalat’s identity. Ultimately, Dalat Cultural Park is envisioned as a “Work-Live-Play” sanctuary where modern architecture complements the city’s quaint charm and lush landscapes.
