Just west of the Nhon Trach Industrial area and the Cat Lai ferry Swan Bay development, the Sen Viet development is envisioned as a new satellite community proximate to the new Long Thanh Airport and the Eastern Expansion of Ho Chi Minh City. A small craft marina allows sustainable small-scale recreation and connects Sen Viet to the Dong Nai River through special floodgates and canal locks. A water taxi port in the centre of the harbour provides water transport to the centre of Ho Chi Minh City and Thu Thiem.
